Zebra herder? Well, Zebras are imported! |
well peter and i braved the extreme temperatures on saturday afternoon to perform some testing on his 95 pathy before he headed back to prince george.
we left the ok tire in shawnessy at 1:30 and hit the trails in mclean at about 2:30.(allowing 1/2 hour for the trucks to cool down upon arrival)our first test was on our way to the gravel pit were we found a small bypass around the gates with a water hole about 3.5' deep.no problems there. once in the gravel pit we found a row of 4' moguls and proceeded to check the articulation and tire clearances.there was an acceptable amount of rub on the tires considering the front wheel was 2' off the ground. we took a easy run down mclean creek connector trail to valley trail and out to the main road. the only carnage occured when peter bashed in the skid plate portion of the shiny new arb bumper. as usaul the zebra did its thing and all was good. this was one of those undercover type stealth missions there were no cameras around to take pics, so you will just have to believe us taht it really happened........................right???? jamie i got that jeep thing once......... now it hurts when i pee...... may the ford be with you............always |
